Tracking your investments
- Tracking positions: Input the positions you are currently invested in. This simple method allows you to track the performance of your current positions.
- Tracking transactions: Input all transactions over time. This method allows you to track your investments over time.
To track your positions, you can input them in the table or you can upload them. To upload your positions, you can use this template.
- Input: Directly type in the table cells or select from the table cells' dropdown menus
- Upload: Upload a .csv file with your positions. Uploaded positions are added to existing positions in the table.
- Edit: You can directly edit positions in the table
- Update positions: Once you are happy with the positions as shown in the table, click 'Update Positions' to save the data in the database
- Delete position: Select the row you want to delete and press the backspace key on your keyboard
- Delete all positions: Select 'Delete' from the 'Actions' dropdown menu to delete all positions
- Download: Select 'Download' from the 'Actions' dropdown menu to download your positions
To enter a cash position, scroll to the end of the dropdown menu in a cell of the 'Asset' column and select the currency, then enter the quantity and leave the transaction price blank.
An asset list 'My Investment Positions' is created containing all assets that you are currently invested in.

The same functions as described in the section above are available as well.
- Trade: The buying or selling of an asset. Leave the price empty to use the asset's close price on the entered date. Enter a positive quantity for the buying of an asset and a negative quantity for the selling of an asset.
- Transfer: Deposit or withdrawal of cash into or out of your brokerage account. Leave the price empty.
- Fee: Transaction costs for buying and selling of assets. Enter a negative amount for a fee paid. Can also be used for interest earned, in which case enter a positive amount.
- NAV: Manual adjustment to your net asset value. Based on the transactions provided, we calculate the performance of your investments and the progression of your NAV. Manually adjust your NAV to align your actual NAV with the calculated NAV.
An asset list 'My Investment Positions' is created containing all assets that you are currently invested in and an asset 'my_investments' is created
